Designed specifically for parrots, the LEDs are protected by a bite-resistant stainless steel grille, and the cable is encased in a flexible stainless steel tube. The lamp is mounted directly on the cage and illuminates only the cage, so no light shines into your eyes or reflects off the TV.
Easy to install and low-cost to maintain!
Our HappyBird bird lamp with a chew-proof cover includes everything you need for safe installation and power supply: its own power supply, mounting hardware, and stainless steel cable ties. Please note that the lamp does not have its own switch and must be connected to a standard lamp timer to ensure your birds receive a consistent amount of light. The LEDs are also suitable for humid environments and are protected against liquids you might spray while cleaning the cage.
Installation
The HappyBird bird lamp with a chew guard can be mounted both inside and on top of the cage by securely attaching it to the cage bars using the included brackets.
The power cord MUST be secured using the stainless steel cable ties provided. Birds with stronger beaks can bite through the stainless steel tube if they can reach it completely. Dangling cords can also be dangerous for your birds, so you should secure them firmly to the cage.
